Kinesio Taping

What is Kinesio Taping?
Kinesio Taping Shoulder
Often, through injury, the body is incapable of placing itself in the best position for healing. Kinesio Taping is a supportive treatment method which uses external adhesive strapping to help hold the patient’s muscles and joints in a more optimal posture. This results in improved circulation through an injured area, better control over muscle contractions, reduced pain, and ultimately faster healing. The application and utilization of Kinesio Tape is based on the results of a thorough physical therapy evaluation. This then determines the direction and cut of the tape, as well as the appropriate amount of tension required.
